Description
As the Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment, I led the development of VehiMan, a versatile vehicle management app built using Flutter. The core objective of VehiMan was to provide vehicle owners with a comprehensive tool for managing and maintaining up to 5 vehicles efficiently. The app's key features included maintenance reminders, a meter guide, and a traffic signs guide, offering users a one-stop solution for effective vehicle management.
Project Objectives:
- Comprehensive Vehicle Management: Developed a user-friendly app that allows vehicle owners to manage and maintain up to 5 vehicles efficiently. The app served as a centralized platform for storing key vehicle data and facilitating various management tasks.
- Maintenance Reminders: Implemented a robust maintenance reminder system to ensure vehicle owners receive timely alerts for essential upkeep tasks. This feature aimed to extend the lifespan of vehicles by promoting proactive maintenance.
- Meter Guide: Integrated a meter guide feature to help users track and manage essential metrics for their vehicles. This included functionalities such as mileage tracking, fuel consumption, and other key metrics relevant to vehicle performance.
- Traffic Signs Guide: Provided a traffic signs guide within the app to enhance user convenience and safety. This feature aimed to assist users in understanding and adhering to traffic signs, contributing to safer and more informed driving experiences.
Responsibilities & Approaches:
- Product Vision and Roadmap: Defined the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals. The roadmap guided the development of features that added value to vehicle owners.
- Backlog Prioritization:Managed and prioritized the product backlog to ensure that the most valuable features were delivered first. Utilized Agile methodologies to adapt to changing requirements and emerging user needs.
- Sprint Planning and Execution: Led sprint planning sessions to define goals for each development iteration. Conducted sprint reviews to assess completed work against acceptance criteria. This iterative approach allowed for continuous improvement and adaptation.
